How to start using your device — Trezor Suite

1. Unbox and verify your device

   Start by inspecting the package. Make sure the seal is intact and the device is genuine. If anything looks tampered with, contact support immediately. Using an authentic Trezor device is critical to secure your crypto.

2. Download Trezor Suite

   Go to trezor.io/start (or use the official Trezor Suite app) and download the correct package for your operating system. Always verify the download destination — installing the official Trezor Suite ensures your device communicates securely.

3. Connect the device & install firmware

   Plug your Trezor into your computer using the supplied cable. Trezor Suite will detect the device and prompt to install or update firmware. Install the firmware only from the official Trezor Suite prompt.

4. Create a new wallet or recover

   Choose Create new to generate a new wallet or Recover wallet if you already have a recovery seed. When creating, write down your recovery seed on the provided card — never store it digitally.

5. Set a PIN and backup
